Testing Details
To expand our Always Committed protocol program, we will be providing two COVID-19 Antigen tests per room per stay at no additional cost for stays of 5-nights or more for guests from the United States and Canada traveling from March 1, 2022, through May 27, 2022.
If guests require any additional tests done those can be arranged with our Concierge at an additional cost. For more information please contact our Concierge.
An independent lab will be on site to perform the test. The test must be taken within 24 hours prior to departure and can be coordinated with resort concierges; In Mazatlan and Cozumel via the Elite Club and in Puerto Morelos via the Platinum Club located in Ventus. Please consult costs for additional tests with our ECVC Members Services depatrment prior to your arrival, as these fees must be paid in cash or credit card directly to the clinic in Mazatlan; in Puerto Morelos they must be paid directly to the Platinum Club. All international travelers 2 years of age or older must present a negative COVID-19 test.
Please consider and take note that…
If you test positive while on site, the individual(s) who tests positive, must immediately go to their room and proceed to contact the Elite/Platinum Club informing them of the situation. Individuals that test positive will be moved to a private room away from the general population with all amenities. You will receive 3 meals per day and housekeeping will be performed once every three days as well as room sanitization.
ECVC member points will be used and applied to extend your reservation as per normal reservation policies.
What if my guests/family elect to stay if I test positive?
If you are an ECVC member, your points will be used and applied to extend the reservations of your guests/family as per normal reservation policies.
If you wish to take the test at one of these clinics, it is the sole responsibility of the individual to make their own appointment and absorb the cost of transportation and the cost of the test itself, which must be paid directly to the clinic.
