A Celebration Like No Other

Mazatlán Carnival is not just a festival, it is a tradition that has united locals and visitors for more than 128 years. Mazatlan Carnaval 2026 continues this legacy, offering one of the most vibrant, colorful, and joyful celebrations in all of Mexico.

What started in 1898 as a small local gathering has evolved into an internationally recognized event filled with music, history, and unforgettable moments. In 1990, the carnival crowned its first queen, adding elegance and pageantry to an already spectacular celebration.

When Does It Begin?

The excitement officially begins on February 12, when the city is decorated with iconic monigotes, giant, colorful sculptures placed throughout Mazatlán’s most popular areas. Alongside these vibrant displays, large stages and billboards begin to appear across the city, announcing highly anticipated concerts by major national and international artists, setting the mood for the unforgettable celebrations ahead during Mazatlan Carnaval 2026.

One of the most anticipated moments of Mazatlan Carnaval 2026, this spectacular fireworks show lights up the bay. The display honors the city’s historical naval battles and fills the night sky with color and emotion.

Congratulations on many exciting, memorable and enjoyable vacations in the years to come.  It is very important to become familiar with the rules of the program which you will find in your Updated ECVC Membership Guide/Directory (available for downloaded here).  From time to time ECVC may make modifications to the content of this guide.  Notice will be given via this landing page or other means such as email notifications or posts on other media channels.  When modifications are made to the guide, the entire member base is considered and the changes are made in order to benefit the member base as a whole.  Changes to this content include but may not be limited to rules, regulations, guidelines, design, photographs, maps, charts, schedules and wording of its text.  Future updated versions of this guide will be made available for download in a similar manner.
